Ok so we stole our name from the band in the movie “that thing you do“. The movie is about a band that scores a hit single… which is something that our softball team can’t seem to do!!! We’ve lost our first two games… and by a huge margin both times.
On paper we’re a pretty sweet team. By “on paper” I mean picture paper. Check out these uniforms!
It should be mentioned that we’re the only team in the league with uniforms. The rest of the teams are made up of 40-something-year-old guys who have been playing softball since I was a third grader. But they are gooooood.
We play every Monday night. I hope we win next Monday because we’re already as humble as we can be after our losses.
